How to add bullets in Apple Pages

You can add bullets while creating your list or after listing list items. Let’s start adding bullets as you go.

Step 1: Place the cursor in the document where you want the first menu item.

Customize bullets in Pages on Mac

Maybe you want to add a little excitement to the bullet list. You can select different bullets such as stars, check marks, arrows, and plus signs. You can also use images for bullets and choose from pre-made options or upload your own.

Step 1: If you already have a bulleted list, select all items. If you are going to create the list while adding items, put your cursor where you want the first item.

Add bullets in Pages on iPhone

Just like on Mac, you can add bullets in Pages on iPhone while you’re creating your list or after you’ve got your items.

Step 1: To start a list, place the cursor where you want the first item.

Step 2: Click on Lead List A button in the toolbar above the keyboard.

Step 3: Choose the list style you want to use from bullets, dashes, or images.

The fourth step: You will see your bullet appear in the document. Click on X to close the popup. Next, add the first menu item, tap Backand enter the next item to complete your list.

Customize bullets in Pages on iPhone and iPad

You have the same options for customizing bullets on your mobile device as you do on a Mac as well.

Step 1: Select a bullet, a list item, or the entire list if you want to customize all bullets.
