Polish developer Enjoy Studio launches Kickstarter campaign for open-world life sim The Witch of Fern Island. It is seeking funding of 15,000 euros.

The Witch of Fern Island is a new game from Polish developer Enjoy Studio. Players will play as a young girl named Abrill who wants to become a qualified witch. The story takes place on the titular Fern Island – an alternative world influenced by three different cultures and shrouded in an aura of magic with fantastic flora and fauna. The player’s task is to pass the academic internship to complete the witch exam. Abrill will live on the island, bringing help and support to the local community. It is up to the player to decide the fate of the land and its people. Players can freely explore the vast open world on foot, on horseback or on a broomstick!

The Witch of Fern Island Highlights the importance of culture in human life. Understanding residents and their problems from Abrill’s perspective will make you reflect on your pursuit of happiness and purpose in life. The personal stories of the characters tell us that simple gestures of kindness can change people’s lives and revitalize divided communities. However, it all depends on the path the player will follow, as Abrill’s actions will be assessed as part of the internship.

It is worth noting that the mirror image of the world – “Astra”, players can enter through a hidden portal on the island. It’s an alternate world that only characters with magical abilities can enter – like Abriel.
